A wrap skirt is the most adjustable thing we make: the inner tie passes through a bound hole in the waistband and the outer tie knots at the hip, so the same skirt fits a range of waists and sits where you tie it. Light pleating at the waist, a generous overlap, mid-calf length.
The overlap is wide, but it is an overlap: a strong gust or a bicycle will open it. The inner tie takes the strain and is bar-tacked for it; the outer bow is decorative as much as structural.
